What you get
- Every eShop's price for each game, cheapest first, with sale end dates.
- Price history: a chart by country, and whether today's price is the lowest since we started recording the game.
- Languages by country: each country sells its own version of a game, and we show that version's languages, with a warning when it has no English.
- How to buy in each country: click a country on a game's page; the buying guide explains accounts and paying step by step.
- A wishlist with sale alert mails and My markets (the cheapest price among the eShops you can buy in).
- My Games: keep a record of the games you own and the eShop you bought each one in, and narrow the list down to your favourites, the ones you have or have not finished, or physical or digital copies. You can share your My Games and your wishlist with other people who have an account on the site.
- Critic scores from Metacritic.
- Nintendo news: we gather the latest stories from Nintendo news sites (Nintendo Life, Nintendo Everything, My Nintendo News, Nintendo World Report, Siliconera and IGN) on the News page, and link each one to the games it is about.
- Review videos: we find each game's reviews on YouTube and list them on the game's page.
- Similar games and more from the publisher: each game's page lists games of the same genres and the publisher's other games, each with its cheapest price.
Where the data comes from
- Prices come from Nintendo's own public eShop pages: every country overnight and again from midday, UK time. They are stored exactly as the shop shows them.
- Exchange rates are the day's reference rates (European Central Bank and other public sources).
- Game details (languages, download size, age rating, screenshots) come from titledb, a community database of the eShops' data; Metacritic's critic scores from metacritic.com.
How to read the prices
- The price in a list is the cheapest country that sells the game (or, with a market chosen, that market's price); the game page shows every country, cheapest first.
- Prices are what each shop lists: most include VAT. Canada's eShop adds tax at checkout, so we add the 5% federal tax; US prices are before state sales tax, which is added at checkout.
- Converted prices use daily rates; what you pay depends on how you pay (a Nintendo eShop card seller's price, or your bank's exchange rate) and on whether your Nintendo Account can buy in that country.
