The cheapest Nintendo eShop region
We compare the price of every Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 game in 43 eShop countries twice a day, at each eShop's own price converted at the day's exchange rates (US prices are before sales tax). Of the 20,116 games sold in at least 10 of them, Japan is the cheapest eShop for 5,515 (27%), followed by New Zealand (20%) and Chile (20%).
No single country is cheapest for everything: it depends on the game, the publisher's regional prices and the current sales, so check the game's own page before you buy.

Counted over 20,116 games sold in at least 10 eShops; "on sale there" is how many of them are cheapest there because of a sale. A country's name opens its eShop's page.
Buying in another country's eShop
- Switch and Switch 2 games are not region-locked: a game bought in another country's eShop plays on any console.
- To buy there you need a Nintendo Account set to that country (a second, free account on your console is the easiest way) and a card from that country or that eShop's gift cards. eShop money does not move between countries.
- Add-ons (DLC) usually have to come from the same region's eShop as the game, and some games are not sold in every country.

Prices are each eShop's own, converted at the day's reference exchange rates: VAT is included where the eShop includes it, US prices are before sales tax and for Canada we add the 5% federal tax. They are collected twice a day from the public eShops: check the total in the eShop before you buy.
