About this game

The "Cosmic Fantasy" series, which was one of the first CD-ROM games to use animation to depict crucial scenes, shocking fans, is making a comeback on Nintendo Switch™ after more than 30 years. Now more than ever, it’s a visual RPG that evokes a sense of nostalgia and something new. ■ A Highly Popular Game with Enthusiastic Fans An RPG set in space, released for PC Engine CD-ROM² and Mega CD from 1990 to 1994. RPGs with animated sequences were rare at the time, and the unique world, character personalities, and story of this game captured a passionate fanbase, making it a highly popular title. ■ A Pioneering RPG with Visual Scenes The inclusion of animated sequences in key parts as visual scenes made this series a pioneering title in the RPG genre, famous for its groundbreaking approach to storytelling.
