In The Dark Collection

In The Dark Collection is part of the GB Archive, a curated initiative focused on the technical preservation and distribution of homebrew games. Experience the complete In The Dark saga, a retro-inspired sci-fi puzzle collection. Across two interconnected adventures, you’ll uncover the mysteries surrounding abandoned spacecraft, strange transmissions, and unknown forces lurking beyond the stars. What begins as a simple mission quickly spirals into something far greater. As systems fail and a deadly virus spreads, captain Ikalo Pann must uncover the truth hidden behind each light. Each puzzle solved brings you closer to answers and the truth behind the signal. Featuring both In The Dark and In The Dark 2, this collection combines atmospheric storytelling with addictive light-based puzzle gameplay inspired by classic handheld experiences, and brings both games in the series together for the first time. Manipulate grids of lights, discover the patterns, and tackle hundreds of handcrafted puzzles across multiple gameplay modes. In The Dark 2 expands the experience with larger puzzles, new gameplay mechanics, cinematic story sequences, unlockable content, and an arcade-inspired shoot’em up mini-game that deepens the universe and raises the stakes. The In The Dark Collection delivers a relaxing yet rewarding nostalgic experience that can also be played in vertical mode with touch controls to better match the '90s feeling!
