■物語
冒険旅行の途中 飛行機トラブルで
海に落ちてしまった私は
とある島に漂着した
一日で一周できるほどの小さな島だった
人影もなく 周りを海に囲まれ
正に絶海の孤島と言うに相応しい場所だ
飛行機は大破し、食料は流され
外界と通信手段もない
ひとまず私はこの島で生き延びるべく
ジャングルの奥へと分け入った
島の中心辺りに来たかというところで
私は不意に足を地面に飲み込まれた
特に穴などあるわけでもなく
ただ地面にのみ込まれていった
気づくと私は広い空間に立っていた
そこは遺跡というべきか
古代神殿の中のよう場所だった
壁に燃え盛る松明が掲げられ
人ではない何かがじっと私を
観察しているような気配がした
あまり良い気のする場所ではない
私はここから脱出すべく探索を開始した——
